Who says pampering is just for the spa or a lazy Sunday evening? Not us, that’s for sure. We’re following the French lead – skin, hair and nails should be treated like royalty every day of the week, not just on special occasions. From luxurious facial oils to pretty mani/pedis, here’s our weekly pamper routine.
Monday – body buffing
Start the week well with super soft skin – use a salt-based scrub to smooth away rough patches, following up with an intensive moisturiser for top-to-toe silkiness.
Tuesday – eyebrow maintenance
Spend a few minutes in front of a well-lit mirror and pluck away any stragglers to keep brows defined. Sooth red skin with an aloe vera balm before applying makeup.
Wednesday – facial massage
After cleansing and moisturising, use your knuckles and fingertips to gently massage your face, concentrating on the chin, cheekbones and eye area. Use upward motions to lift the skin.
Thursday – oil cleanse
Harsh cleansing, winter weather and central heating can strip skin of its natural oils, forcing it to overcompensate and leaving you looking oily. Use a facial oil after your normal cleanse to replenish and treat the skin.
Friday – mani/pedi
Get ready for the weekend with a colour pop mani/pedi – file and buff nails into shape, push back cuticles with an orange stick then apply a base coat followed by your favourite colour. Mix and match on toes and fingers and seal with a top coat.
Saturday – hair detox
Want gorgeous, bouncy locks ready for your Saturday night out? Treat your hair to a clarifying shampoo to wash away product build-up, then apply an intensive mask, wrap in a towel and leave for 10-15 minutes.
Sunday – overnight sleep mask
After a busy week, skin can look dull and lacklustre. Give it a radiance boost ready for the week ahead by applying an overnight mask after your evening cleanse. Wash off the next morning for bright, beautiful skin!
